Important: You MUST purchase a fishing licence before commencing trip. You can buy them online for Taupo or Rotorua.

Rotorua is surrounded by lakes and streams, many within 15 minutes drive from the city center. Fishing is available all year round. Our half day package will have you fly fishing a local Rotorua stream or lake.

Itinerary

Pick up from your accommodation	6:30am
Arrive at fishing location	7:00am
Fly fishing lessons (if needed)	7:15am
Fly fishing with experienced guide	7:30am - 11:30pm
Depart fishing location	11:30pm
Drop off back at accommodation	12:00pm

Cost per person	Cost per additional person (1 extra max)
$500 ($150 deposit on booking)	$100 per person
Deposit and Cancellation Policy: A 30% deposit is required to secure package booking. Deposit is fully refundable up to 60 days prior to the trip then non-refundable after this time. In the event of extremely bad or unsafe weather conditions on the day, a full refund will be given.

Health and Safety

Te Aurere Rotorua and Taupo Fly Fishing Adventures is first aid certified, has an audited health and safety plan for your reassurance, public and statutory liability cover and has concessions to guide on department of conservation estate. Your health and safety is our priority and all guides carry personal locator beacons and first aid kits.
